Thomas L. Renwick

Thomas L. “Slugg” Renwick, age 82, of Penfield, died unexpectedly, May 6, 2021 at Penn Highlands-DuBois. A son of the late Raymond and Vivian (Smart) Renwick, he was born on April 10, 1939 in Penfield, PA.

Besides his parents, Slugg was preceded in death by: two wives, Clara Yvonne (Johnson) Renwick in 1967 and Judith F. (Vollmer) Renwick in 2020; a brother, Doug Renwick; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Renwick.

Slugg is survived by: four children, Kim (Robert) Rudolph of Penfield, Brenda (Jeff) Lankford of Tennessee, Darryn Renwick of Penfield, and Jody (Angela) Renwick of Texas; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave “Sonny” Renwick of Florida.

Slugg was a graduate of Huston Township High School and worked with Keystone Carbon of St. Marys for 44 years. He was a member of the Penfield Firemen’s Club and enjoyed hunting, being in the outdoors and being home with his family. He lived all his life in Penfield.

There will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
