2 from Lady Dutch named PAVBCA D9 all-stars

Two members of the St. Marys Area Lady Dutch volleyball team were among the seven players to be recognized this season by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PAVBCA) on their District 9 Class AAA all-star team.

Named to the squad from the Lady Dutch were junior middle hitter/middle blocker Rylee Nicklas, and senior setter Lindsey Reiter.

Both players were key contributors to the Lady Dutch all season as they finished their 2022 campaign as the District 9 Class AAA runner-up.

Joining Nicklas and Reiter on the team were four players from the District 9 Class AAA champion DuBois Area Lady Beavers, as well as one member of the Bradford Lady Owls.

Named to the allstar team from DuBois were senior middle hitter/middle blocker Emma Delp, senior libero Gabby Gulvas, junior opposite hitter Morgan Pasternak, and senior outside hitter Jessica Pfaff.

Rounding out the all-star team was Bradford senior outside hitter Emma Swanson.
